Perficio Management Tool
Responding to the needs of our clients, E-Learn Design has developed Perficio, a major enhancement to Moodle 2x aimed at the business and corporate market. Perficio offers multi-tenancy Moodle alongside a hierarchical system of capabilities to suit a company’s ‘layered’ organisation. Perficio also offers enhanced reporting and a complete ecommerce and licensing solution. Like Moodle, Perficio is modular, allowing for ease of further customisation and enhancement should a client require it.
The main features of Perficio include:
- Dashboard interface to provide ready access to essential aspects of both Moodle and Perficio.
- Client companies can easily be created and defined. Companies can then select their own users, courses, managers and theme (either as an uploaded custom theme or choose from the list of standard installed Moodle themes).
- The clients companies are not visible to each other.
- The course listings have been modified so that users can only see courses that belong to the client company of which they also belong, or are shared to their client company or are shared to every company within the system.
- New courses can ‘belong’ to a client company or can be shared between selected companies or can be shared across all companies.
- New Users can ‘belong’ to a client company, as well as a client department.
- Client Managers can add their own users to their own courses or assign an appropriate license to a user to allow them to add themselves.
- A simplified course creation screen assigns new courses to their ‘owner’ client company.
- A simplified user creation screen allows users to be created singly or uploaded from a spreadsheet whilst allocating to a selected client company.
- Company managers can control and obtain detailed reporting from users in their own company.
- Companies can be given a hierarchical structure with users and managers assigned at different levels in the hierarchy. Managers can only view users who are under their department.
- Comprehensive, pluggable reporting system tailored to individual companies. (Further custom reports can be created by ELD developers as required).
- Face to face events can be set up for companies to allow for users to book places at training events or managers to book places by proxy to these events.
- An E-Commerce block can be added to the Moodle site to allow users to purchase licenses to courses or managers to block purchase licenses to courses through paypal or invoice.
Starter Moodle + Perficio Hosting
A system for small institutions and training organisations. Typically this will support up to around 250 users (depending on activities in use) up to around 15 active courses. The maximum amount of space for your files is 3GB.
Yearly Price: £1895 + VAT + £75 one off installation fee
