E-Learn Design is committed to contributing to the philosophies of the open source community. We are able to develop custom Moodle software tailored to your exact requirements. We particularly recommend the development of plug-ins, rather than modifying existing code (which can make upgrading challenging). We also strongly encourage customers commissioning development projects to "give back" the completed code to the community. This has sensible business benefits.
