E-Learn Design logs non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitors request. E-Learn Design does not collect this information: logs are overwritten daily.
Individual client Moodle installations collect the following types of personal information: names and e-mail addresses, country of origin of account, city of origin of account. Some client Moodle installations also collect additional user information chosen by the client (such as, phone and facsimile numbers, billing information, etc.) as identified in the optional user account profile fields. This information is stored in individual client Moodle databases that are only available to specified system accounts. All passwords are encrypted.
E-Learn Design gathers information on individual clients by request for main client contacts and invoicing details, as well as through our support system. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we may ask clients who use our support to provide a username, email address and full name of an end user experiencing difficulties in order to diagnose a technical problem. In each case, E-Learn Design collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the client’s support request. All client and support ticket information are held in a database which is only accessible via users and/or accounts with sufficient privileges for support or administration.
